Cookie Policy

There's very little to say here, which is the point.

The short version

This site sets no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no third-party cookies. Browsing figstu.com sets no cookies at all. That's why you've never seen a cookie banner here — there's nothing to ask you about.

What we do set

  • csrftoken — set only on pages with a form, currently just the CropShot data-deletion request. It exists so that a form submission can be verified as coming from you and not forged by another site. Without it the form can't work safely.
  • sessionid — set only if you sign in to administer the site, which means us. If you're a visitor, you will never receive this.

Analytics without cookies

We do measure how the site is used, with Umami, which we run on our own server rather than sending anything to a third party. It works without cookies and without following you between sites: it counts page views and coarse details like browser and screen size, and it can't identify you. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Turning them off

Every browser can block or delete cookies for a site. Nothing here will break if you do — except the data-deletion form, which needs its security cookie to accept a submission.

The game

CropShot is an app, not a website, so cookies don't apply to it. What it collects is described on the CropShot data & privacy page.
